Homework Assignment-Photo Post 1
Photo taken November 25, 2012 at 1:15 pm. This building is the Columbia Russ Berrie Medical Science Pavilion on St Nicholas Avenue and 168th Street. It is an academic research building. It is also home to Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center for research and treatment of diabetes, Genome Center for the study of biology and medicine practice, and Cancer Research.
Architect: Davis Brody and Associates
Engineer: Jaros Baum & Bolles
Height: 122.94 ft
Construction time period: Late 1990's
Cost: $76 Million
I chose this building because its design was unique from the other buildings I saw.

Nice photo! Thanks for posting. The glass is part of a curtainwall system. This curtainwall is supported from the the edge of each slab and assembled as sticks. the glass is then inserted into the aluminum stick frames.
